Falcon State Park

On Friday we arrived 90 miles up the Valley to Falcon State Park just north of the Falcon Dam on the Rio Grande River.

P3065217

Windy and warm (above 90F.) we found the park is used for two activities, fishing or birding. We have no boat so we went birding.

We will be going up the valley on Sunday to Laredo, Texas.

  1. Wow! You poor guys 90 degrees. I don't know how you can stand it. Haha. It is minus thirty today with a zillion km/h wind and blowing/drifting snow. It is supposed to stay minus 30 all week. So much for the March snow melt. Maybe next month. The bird pics are nice. Now you need to get an inflatable boat to keep in your cargo bay so you can go boating.
