Today we drove less than 1 hour to arrive at the Oregon Dunes.
We started off the day with a Blue cuddle.
Then we stopped at the Heceta Head Lighthouse again this morning. So here are the photos we did not get yesterday.
We finally arrived at the campground before noon. A tough under an hour lazy drive.
Then we went on a sand rail with a tour company. When we were strapped in with a 3 point harness we knew we are in for a ride!
Plus the drive has a sign on his head stating:
“I drive as fast as the voices in my head tell me to …”
The voices said drive very very fast.
That’s us already in 3rd gear at 4000 rpm.
This is a video I shot. The ups and downs are incredibly steep. The video does NOT do justice to the ride.
