Our first stop is Port Orford Heads State Park. This is the old coastguard base for this area and this area has been preserved.
A view along the way.
Then off to the Cape Blanco Light.
On the way is an old 1898 farm house of the Hughes family.
About 5% of the cranberry production is in this part of Oregon. We caught the end of harvest.
This cape had a wind so strong the Honda was shaking.
Some photos of the Port of Port Orford. Port Orford does NOT have a harbor so all the fishing boats get hulled out when in harbor.
